The Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Federal Building, located in the West End, is comprised of an 11-story high-rise section and a five-story low-rise section connected by a five-story interior courtyard, covered by a continuous skylight. It was named after Thomas Phillip "Tip" O'Neill, Jr., a Representative from Massachusetts who was born in Cambridge.

Public Access: The public entrance to the building is on Causeway Street. The handicap ramp is to the left of the entrance stairs. Visitors entering the building must pass through security. All belongings will be x-rayed.
