Title: Screen

Location: FDA White Oak Campus Commons, White Oak, Maryland

Date: 2010

Project Summary

This artwork consists of two screens, comprised of hundreds of interconnected, uniformly-sized, ABS plastic figures in a range of colors, affixed to large horizontally exposed walls. When viewed from a distance, the piece reads as an exuberant abstraction. Up close, the nuances of each figure will be clear, including two figures dressed in FDA lab coats. Ultimately, the artwork speaks to the integral role of FDA within society at large.

Screen is located inside a corridor in the Central Shared Use Building which is visible from the Commons.
