The Fritz G. Lanham Federal Office Building, located at 819 Taylor Street in Fort Worth, Texas, is named after Fritz Garland Lanham, a U.S. Representative from Texas who was born in Weatherford, Texas, and served in Congress from 1919 to 1947. The lobby interior boasts white marble walls, floors, and support columns and includes a cafeteria, snack bar and a health unit.
The building opened in 1966, and has accommodated federal agencies as they accomplish their mission and the public they serve. It was recognized as an ENERGY STAR® qualified building in 1999. In 2006, the building celebrated its 50th anniversary since it's opening.
