Federal Acquisition Service

FAS serves as the acquisition and procurement arm of the federal government, offering equipment, supplies, telecommunications, and integrated information technology solutions to federal agencies so that the agencies can focus on doing what they do best—serving the public. Since its establishment on May 1, 2007, FAS has demonstrated unrivaled capability to deliver comprehensive products and services across government at the best value possible. In the Southeast Sunbelt Region, there are five FAS business lines (Assisted Acquisition Services, Fleet Management, Network Services, National IT Commodity Program and Personal Property) as well as the Customer Accounts and Research Division and four nationally reporting programs (Supplier Management, Supply Operations, Financial Services Center and Schedule 70). These programs all work together as a team to accomplish our priorities of:

Assisted Acquisition Services Division

AAS delivers value through acquisition, project management and financial management excellence. AAS works with agency program, financial, contracting and legal counsel to ensure requirements are met on time, within budget, at reduced risk resulting in best-value solutions. Customized services are scalable and available when and where agencies need them.

Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

GSA Region 4, Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (CaSE), provides government customers located in the southeastern United States support in acquisition services and solutions helping customers select the best value solution for their needs.

Fleet Services Division

GSA Fleet is a full-service, professional fleet management organization providing quality vehicles to federal customers. GSA Fleet's comprehensive leasing program provides customers with vehicle management support for the life cycle of the vehicle. GSA Fleet is dedicated to bringing customers innovative products and services as well as developing some online tools to support your vehicle needs and fleet management requirements.

Personal Property Management

In accordance with the Federal Management Regulations, GSA can assist federal agencies with the disposition of excess personal property. This requires the agency to submit their information to GSA, within a reasonable timeframe, for mandatory utilization and donation screening.

Reverse Auctions Program

ReverseAuctions.gsa.gov is an efficient and cost-effective platform for buying non-complex commodities and simple services. It’s designed to drive down the total cost of acquisitions and increase savings to customers and taxpayers.

Telecommunications & Network Services

GSA's Local Telecommunications services provide a broad range of end-to-end telecommunications and network services, such as voice, data, local and international telephone service.
