Savannah U.S. Courthouse Annex In Fiscal Year 2016, GSA announced Congress appropriated funding for multiple Federal Courthouse construction projects across the Country. Two of these projects are located in the Southern District of Georgia. The new Savannah U.S. Courthouse Annex along with the Tomochichi Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse modernization projects will allow the Judiciary to meet its current and long-term needs for security, accessibility and operational efficiency in Savannah, GA. The combined projects total 174,961 square feet of space (Annex with 46,000 square feet and 128,961 square feet at Tomochichi) and 25 secured parking spaces. The new Courthouse Annex will include one bankruptcy courtroom and related chambers. U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services will also have an office in the Annex.

The Design Build Contract was awarded to Hoar Construction, LLC (Birmingham, AL)on September 29, 2017.
