Constructed in 1960, the four-story federal building located in downtown Bemidji, Minnesota, is within a block of the Beltrami County Judicial Building, Bemidji Fire Station, Bemidji Post Office, and the County Administration Building. GSA acquired the building in 1974 through a transfer from the U.S. Post Office.

Made of concrete brick and polished granite, the Bemidji Federal Building features concrete columns framing a flat roof and a terrazzo lobby inside. The building has four floors, a basement, and a mezzanine.
