In an effort to broaden GSA's inclusivity reach, the Greater Southwest Region’s Customer and Stakeholder Engagement (CASE) team recently held a live webinar panel entitled, "The State/Local/Tribal Government Market for Industry Partners."

The virtual event focused on contracting opportunities to provide information technology, security, and disaster recovery goods and services to state, local and tribal agencies, as well as educational institutions and universities.  During the discussions, participants not only learned how to get on GSA’s Schedule, but also how to market and position themselves to sell to these agencies.  The industry event was a success with over 700 participants.

These types of offerings align with GSA's priority to expand diversity, equity and inclusion. It’s part of a whole government approach that includes identifying program and policy barriers to the underserved, developing solutions to remove those barriers, and embedding equitable principles into everything we do.  Essentially, GSA is taking steps at every level of the organization to support those who may have previously felt underserved including State/Local/Tribal agencies.
