Joshua Trader is the new director of PBS Region 6’s Design and Construction Division. He permanently fills the vacancy left by the departure of Zach Hawks in April.

“He brings proven leadership and significant expertise to the table,” said PBS Regional Commissioner Kevin Rothmier. “I know Josh will be a strong leader and advocate for the division.”

Trader first joined GSA in 2004 as a small project manager. He then spent 14 years as a project manager and project management team lead within the division. In 2018 he joined the PBS regional leadership team as the West Project Management Branch Chief.

“With experience in a broad range of projects — including flood recovery, environmental cleanup, large repairs and alterations, and leasing — Josh has worked to establish local, regional and national relationships throughout his career,” Rothmier said. “He has served and knows the organization well, and his demonstrated leadership showcases partnering and a solutions-oriented approach.”
