Real Property Disposal

Agencies can count on GSA's Southeast Sunbelt Region for a full range of real property disposal options - that maximize best value to agencies and the taxpayers - including:

Federal agencies must declare and dispose of federal real estate in accordance with federal laws. Agencies can contact the R4 Real Property Disposal Division, or consult GSA's Property Disposal Resource Center for helpful information regarding the laws, regulations, authorities, and policies regarding federal real property disposal.

The Southeast Sunbelt Regional Office is responsible for both the eight-state region and also the Mid-Atlantic region states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland (excluding Montgomery and Prince George's counties*), and Virginia (excluding the city of Alexandria and the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William*).

*GSA's National Capital Region, located in Washington, DC serves these areas.
