Sale on GSAAuctions includes two lots for gold pieces, laptops and tablets

SACRAMENTO — A small amount of gold and 10 Apple computers hit the auction block during GSAAuctions’ End of Season sale event, hosted by the U.S. General Services Administration.

Bidding on the two lots, which feature 11 pieces of gold and eight iPads and two MacBooks, opened Sept. 10 on the GSAAuctions website. The auction event is open one week and ends on Sept. 17.

End of Season sale highlights:

  • Two Valcambi Suisse Gold Bars (1 ounce a piece; pictured right).
  • Two American Eagle Coins (1 ounce a piece).
  • Eight 4th generation, brand new iPad Pro, 12.9-inch tablets (including Wi-Fi + cellular and Wi-Fi-only models).
  • Two brand new MacBook Pro 13-inch laptops.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, GSA is unable to host an inspection for these lots. Prospective bidders are encouraged to review item descriptions and all available photography thoroughly prior to placing a bid.
