A website can be more than just a place to find information. It can transcend the user experience, giving visitors a place that feels more personal. That is why we are excited to unveil our new interface for The GSA Blog, which offers our readers a sleeker web interface with shareable blog posts and high resolution photos.
The blog will continue to help our readers stay up-to-date on the latest GSA news in real estate, acquisition, and technology services. For example, recently, we used The GSA Blog to announce the 2016 government per diem rates and how our vehicle sale is helping support Puerto Rico, We have also used the blog to promote important GSA Auction items to the public, such as wedding dresses and attire, and sports cars and Blackhawk helicopters.
While a lot has changed about the blog, a lot has also stayed the same. The new interface will keep the same daily themes as the old blog — Marketplace Monday, Tech Tuesday, Green Day Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Fact Friday. However, we’ve added a new “GSA Feature” theme for our most exciting announcements, like the recent confirmation of the agency’s Administrator, Denise Turner Roth.
So take a look around. Read the latest blogs for each theme and test the social media buttons. Because when you come to The GSA Blog we want it to feel like more than just a place to find information, we want it to feel like home.
