Area Property Officers
The Personal Property Management Offices, in conjunction with Area Property Officers (APOs), conduct the utilization, donation, and sales processes of excess property. The APOs are GSA field representatives who screen and inspect excess property within their assigned geographic area.
APOs lend assistance in the property disposal processes by:
- Providing training to federal agencies;
- Providing onsite assistance in the disposition of personal property; and
- Expediting the disposition of property resulting from agency renovations, relocations, or space reductions.
