Reporting Vehicle Problems
The timely reporting of quality deficiencies is essential to maintain an acceptable quality level for the government’s vehicles. GSA relies on agency reporting of quality deficiencies in order to act to remove the defective vehicles from the supply system as well as to document contractor performance files for use in a future procurement.
Quality deficiencies are defined as:
- Defects or nonconforming conditions that limit or prohibit a vehicle from fulfilling its intended purpose; and
- Deficiencies in design, specification, material, manufacturing, and workmanship.
If you suspect a quality deficiency, contact the local Original Equipment Manufacturer dealership in your area to have the vehicle inspected and repaired under warranty. If this does not resolve the problem, please use GSA Standard Form (SF) 368, Quality Deficiency Report, for reporting vehicle problems and send to email@example.com.
