Low Speed Vehicles and EV Conversions

Low Speed Vehicles

GSA Fleet can fulfill all of your vehicle needs, including new technology vehicles such as low-speed vehicles (LSVs) and electric vehicle conversions—vehicles converted from conventional fuel to electric or natural gas motors.

A LSV is defined as a 4-wheeled motor vehicle, whose speed attainable in 1 mile is more than 20 miles per hour, but not more than 25 miles per hour on a paved level surface, and has a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 3,000 pounds. These vehicles, most of which are electric-powered, offer a low-cost, low-emission and quiet transportation option.

Eligible users can purchase through pre-approved vendors found on Multiple Award Schedule 23 V, Standard Item Number 023 LSV, and Multiple Award Schedule 078, Standard Item Number 251 1. Purchases can be made directly through the vendor, GSAAdvantage!® or request GSA to purchase on your behalf
