Low Speed Vehicles and EV Conversions

Low Speed Vehicles

GSA Fleet can fulfill all of your vehicle needs, including new technology vehicles such as low-speed vehicles (LSVs) and electric vehicle conversions—vehicles converted from conventional fuel to electric or natural gas motors.

A LSV is defined as a 4-wheeled motor vehicle, whose speed attainable in 1 mile is more than 20 miles per hour, but not more than 25 miles per hour on a paved level surface, and has a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 3,000 pounds. These vehicles, most of which are electric-powered, offer a low-cost, low-emission and quiet transportation option.

Eligible users can contract with pre-approved vendors found on Multiple Award Schedule 23 V, Standard Item Number 023 LSV, and Multiple Award Schedule 078, Standard Item Number 251 1.
