Each agency is responsible for issuing a fleet card task order. In addition to GSA Fleet, the Departments of Commerce, State and Homeland Security have all chosen WEX as their fleet card. Other Federal fleets have identified Voyager as their selected fleet card. To find out which fleet card Federal agency vehicles are utilizing, feel free to contact GSA's 2019 SmartPay Office.
No. WEX will provide GSA Fleet with a list of merchants accepting the WEX card. This list will be updated on a regular basis. These merchants will be added to the GSA Fleet list of merchants available for GSA Fleet business.
GSA Fleet vehicles are easily identified by the license plate and payment method. Most federal agencies use agency-specific license plates to identify their vehicles. GSA Fleet–owned vehicles’ license plates have a G preceding the alphanumeric sequence. Other federal agencies can be identified by that preceding letter. When a GSA license plate (as described below) is not affixed to a GSA Fleet vehicle, please ask the driver to provide the GSA Fleet service card. The vehicle tag number is located in the lower left corner of the card. If GSA tags are affixed, ensure the vehicle tag number matches the number listed on the GSA Fleet service card.
