EIS Delegation of Procurement Authority Training
The objective of this session is to provide EIS Delegation of Procurement Authority training to agency contracting officers involved in preparing solicitations for the EIS contract.
Who should attend: This training is not open to contractors. Federal Agency Ordering Contracting Officers (OCOs) or other officials with authority to obligate funds must complete this training before requesting a Delegation of Procurement Authority (DPA), which will authorize them to issue task orders against the EIS Multiple Award, Multiple Agency IDIQ Contract. Participants will earn 1.5 CLPs upon completing this course.
One of the government’s top priorities for telecom is planning and executing the transition of services from expiring Networx, WITS 3, and the Regional Local Services contracts. Agency Ordering Contracting Officers (OCO) or other officials with authority to obligate funds must receive a Delegation of Procurement Authority (DPA) from GSA prior to using EIS or issuing task orders.
A key element of the strategy for a successful transition is for GSA to provide effective training support to agencies. In addition to the DPA training available through Defense Acquisition University (DAU), GSA is conducting an interactive, virtual DPA training session offered on two separate dates, please choose one.
