PBS Turnkey Leasing Industry Day 11/5/2019
The PBS Office of Leasing is hosting industry outreach sessions to obtain feedback from the private sector real estate industry. The feedback will be used for the development of a turnkey lease process to support the lease acquisition function of GSA.
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), PBS is hosting Industry Outreach sessions in two major markets across the country. The intent of the sessions is to obtain feedback from the private sector real estate industry. The feedback will be used for the development of a turnkey lease process to support the lease acquisition function of GSA. Up to four GSA projects will be piloted under this new process starting between February and April of FY20. GSA’s ultimate goal is to create a process that assists in reducing cycle time on turnkey projects, minimize change orders as compared to traditional leases, increased taxpayers’ savings and leverage private sector expertise to assist GSA with creating a process that is beneficial to both the federal government and private sector lessors. Interested parties must complete the questionnaire to request participation in a one on one session. GSA and selected firms will discuss various topics not limited to innovation, scope development, and process improvement. Both sessions will be conducted virtually.
