Personal Property Management Training Event

This GSA Greater Southwest Regional training event is free to attend and you can earn three Continuous Learning Points for attending all three classes.

Personal Property Management Overview: This course will provide an overview of the Federal Personal Property Management Disposal Program.

Acquiring Excess Personal Property: This topic examines Acquiring Excess Personal Property and how agencies can save money by making excess the first source of supply. We will examine the GSAXcess website and discuss methods of searching for property that is available to the agency.

Managing the Disposal of Personal Property: T​he purpose of this course is to provide a general overview of the disposal process​. We will examine the disposal process (internal screening, federal screening, state/local screening, and sales). We will also review the abandonment and destruction rules and regulations and review special programs such as CFL.

There’s no charge for this training, and you can earn three Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) for attending the entire event.
