Integrated sensors and analytics are simplifying submetering and driving costs down. Wireless CT sensors clip onto circuit-panel electric wires and draw power from them. Researchers from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) found that the technology was easy to install and is a good option for fault detection and diagnostics. View full-size infographic.
