Headings

The new design creates a consistent hierarchy of headings for page content. There are now styles available in the CMS visual editor ("Ephox") for heading 2 <h2> through heading 6 <h6>. Note that <h1> is reserved for page titles and should not be used in content.

Page Titles

To create a page title, within the page title box in the CMS entry form, enter the correct title of the page. No additional coding is necessary.

Headings

To create headings within a page, use Heading 2 through Heading 6 hierarchically to outline your content in an orderly manner: h2, h3, h4 etc.

Obsolete Styles

The previous styles for “Section Title” and “Subtitle” are obsolete and should not be used in any new content. They have been replaced by <h2> and <h3> respectively. The system will present the obsolete styles as if they were <h2> and <h3> so you do not need to replace them if your page appears OK as is.

Please replace the obsolete tags with new heading tags in the CMS if you would like to change the appearance of the headings.

Section Title

Headings that were coded with the old Section Title style will now be formatted as <h2>.

Subtitle

Headings that were coded with the old Subtitle style will now be formatted as <h3>.
