Extending the Legacy: GSA Historic Building Stewardship was initiated in part to fulfill GSA’s responsibilities under Executive Order 13287, Preserve America. Extending the Legacy examines historic building stewardship successes and challenges within the practical framework of GSA’s business approach to providing and maintaining federal workspace.

GSA Historic Buildings Leasing Report: Identifies factors that help and hinder GSA's efforts to lease space in historic buildings. It underscores the need for new strategies that rely less on financial incentives such as the 10 percent price preference than the removal of barriers such as prescriptive space requirements.
