5th Annual Farmers Market Starting June 12th

A box of fresh ripened tomatoes

This year we celebrate our fifth season of having the only weekday farmers market in Lakewood at the DFC’s Bicentennial Park. The market will be open rain or shine starting every Thursday, June 12 - August 28 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. The market features easy access for the public, amenities such as free parking, shade, landscaping, open-air pavilions, bike racks, and picnic benches.

In order to keep our market vibrant and valuable, we surveyed you earlier this year. More than 250 of you responded to our survey and gave us some helpful feedback, thank you. Key products most of you are interested in buying are fresh baked goods, eggs, vegetables, spices & soups. We'll also be adding more food trucks, some of which that will be able to deliver lunch faster. These are just a few of the offerings. For a list of 2014 vendors, please go to our farmers market webpage.

Remember to bring cash and checks to the market (some vendors may accept credit cards). Visitors are welcome and can access the market at Gate 1, located at 6th and Kipling, and Gate 4, located at Union and 4th Avenue, or Gate 5 located at Union Blvd and 2nd Street. Visitors should be prepared to present a valid driver’s license upon entry. Please keep your furry friends home, pets are not allowed on the campus. Market details, including a map and video, are available at
