Region 4 Student Art Project

Student Art Project

A rotating exhibition of original art created by students from City of Atlanta area schools is now on display in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Building in Atlanta, Georgia. Artwork from students at Morris Brandon Primary Center is currently featured.

The artwork was originally displayed at the U.S. Military Check-In at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to welcome, thank, and offer encouragement to returning and departing military service men and women. Exhibiting the student art in federal buildings extends the art program beyond the airport and broadens the positive impact of the artwork to our federal employees, the public and visitors to the building. In addition, this is part of a GSA program to decorate and enliven public spaces within our buildings.

Andrea Arena and Clark Dean with the Rotary Club of Atlanta along with Valerie Hartman, civic volunteer continue to coordinate artwork with the City of Atlanta area schools. As artwork is returned to the contributing schools following the display, new artwork will be installed on a quarterly basis.

Contact Audrey Entorf, Regional Fine Arts Officer at or 404-331-0060 for information about this art program.
