John Minor Wisdom U.S. Courthouse was recently honored as a National Historic Landmark

VISION UPDATE: December 7, 2015

The John Minor Wisdom U.S. Court of Appeals Courthouse was recently honored with a National Historic Landmark Designation. The courthouse joins more than 2,500 other National Historic Landmarks across the country that have been recognized as places that possess exceptional value and quality in illustrating or interpreting the heritage of the United States. The 100 year old building played a prominent role in the modern civil rights movement.

The courthouse is owned and managed by GSA who serves as steward to nearly five hundred historic federal buildings and courthouses. This is an excellent example of our commitment to being proactive federal partners to customer agencies and the American people.
