GSA Awards Contract for New Human Resource (HR) and Time and Attendance (T&A) Systems

WASHINGTON, D.C – Today the General Services Administration (GSA), awarded a 10-year, $149 million contract to IBM Corporation. In order to focus on its core missions, GSA made the decision to divest its technology services related to Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) Shared Services and procure the system services of IBM Corporation, who will migrate GSA and its external customers to new Human Resource (HR) and Time and Attendance (T&A) systems.

The new systems will enable GSA’s customers to have access to easier, more intuitive HR and T&A systems through self-service, mobile enablement, and reduction of duplicate data entry into current non-integrated systems.
