Southbound Vehicle Lanes Reopen at Calexico West Port of Entry

Construction completed ahead of schedule

Traffic Advisory

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 11, 2017

What: GSA will reopen all southbound vehicle lanes at the Calexico West Land Port of Entry (LPOE) on Monday, May 15, 2017, at 8 a.m. The reopening comes following a continuous lane closure that began January 9, 2017. These lane closures were needed to accommodate the installation of underground utilities as part of the Calexico West LPOE Expansion and Renovation Project. The work was completed one month ahead of schedule.

The westernmost lane of the SR-111 north at the Calexico West LPOE, previously reconfigured to accommodate southbound vehicle traffic, will again be utilized for northbound traffic.

When: May 15, 2017, at 8 a.m.

GSA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection thank the community for their patience during these recent lane closures.
