GSA’s Making It Easier initiative

Learn SchedulesKANSAS CITY, MO. -- As part of GSA’s Making it Easier Initiative, the Heartland Acquisition Center is actively working to develop and improve processes to make it easier (and faster) for vendor to get on schedule and remain successful.

We are excited to share some of the initiatives that are quickly headed your way:

  • Plain Language Roadmap is a site in development that will provide interested vendors a clear and concise path to understanding the Multiple Award Schedule offer process. The guide will help vendors understand how to prepare an offer, assemble the offer and how to finalize the offer for submission.
  • The MAS Welcome Package is a platform for all new MAS vendors to receive consistent information and up-to-date guidance. As part of the Making It Easier initiative, a new-offer welcome package contains all compliance clause requirements, when they apply, and the timelines for completion. This MAS Welcome Package is located on the GSA Schedules portal.
  • MAS Modification Process Improvement will provide vendors with streamlined modification guidelines and templates that will assist in modifying their contract effectively. The modification guidelines will align with the current solicitation proposal instructions covering SCP-FSS-001-N (Instructions Applicable to New Offerors), SCP-FSS-002 (Specific Proposal Instructions for Services) and SCP-FSS-003 (Specific Proposal Instructions for Products).
