GSA's AAAP now available in all Region 6 markets

KANSAS CITY, MO -- GSA’s Automated Advanced Acquisition Platform, or AAAP, is now available throughout the Heartland Region, giving people and businesses the opportunity to electronically offer building space for lease to the Federal Government.

AAAP is a multiple award, electronic procurement platform that allows the proposal submission process to be completely web-enabled. All registered participants submit and update offers to lease space to the government within specified time frames, in response to formal Requests for Lease Proposal (RLP).

The platform handles office space requirements ranging from 500 square feet up to $2.85 million in annual rent. AAAP uses a pre-competed inventory of properties to meet the space requirements for various government agencies.

First launched in 2005 in Washington, D.C., the program has since expanded nationally. Kansas City was added to the AAAP system in 2014. Today, it is supported in all Region 6 markets -- including cities in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas.
