As of December 1, 2017, GSA Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Division has credentialed and issued GSA Access Cards to:

Over 72% of the total GSA Personnel
Over 99% of employees; and
Over 63% of our contractors

Toward Better Security

The 2004 HSPD-12 directive seeks to establish universal identification standards. As these standards evolve, GSA is at the forefront of offering efficient, innovative HSPD-12 and other OMB policy compliant products and services.

GSA’s USAccess program offers federal agencies a shared service that simplifies the process of procuring and maintaining an enterprisewide compliant Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential solution.
