Federal Employees Urged to Complete Relocation Survey by June 15

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) urges federal employees who have relocated at government expense since Oct. 1, 2004, to respond by June 15, 2005 to an electronic survey on implementation and perception of relocation entitlements.

Responses will help shape the Government Wide Relocation Advisory Board’s review of the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) to identify relocation policy changes that would provide best value to federal employees and taxpayers.

GSA’s Office of Governmenwide Policy, which is responsible for implementing FTR relocation policies in the continental United States, created the board, which was chartered in July 2004, under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA),

The relocation board, which includes representatives from government and industry, plans to hold its final in a series of public meetings on Aug. 17, 2005 and to present its report and recommendations in the fall.
