.Gov Domain Services

GSA’s Office of Information Integrity and Access oversees the .Gov Domain Registry Service, which runs the .Gov top-level domain (TLD) used by government entities in the United States. This service is the backbone for the Government’s domain name system, supporting trusted internet transactions, communications, and the web presence for the U.S. Government.  We also support domain policy, program management, and operational registry services, and collaborate with agencies and other stakeholders to coordinate, develop, and implement strategic and operational actions to strengthen and protect this critical Government information infrastructure.

Finally, we monitor and report on policy compliance and best practices for Federal websites and digital services.
