Salt Lake City Motor Pool
GSA is focused on delivering the best value in real estate to our federal partners and the American people. The Salt Lake City Motor Pool building consists of approximately 1.54 acres and housed motor pool cars formerly used by the Federal Bureau of Investigation who vacated the facility in November 2012. GSA is moving forward with a plan that will let industry and stakeholders weigh in on putting this facility to new use. Through a Request For Proposal, or RFP, GSA is asking industry for ideas about how we can leverage this building. This RFP is a way for GSA to gauge the private sector’s interest in potential transactions including an exchange for services on federal buildings or a public or negotiated sale.
On Thursday, March 31, 2016 (subject to change) at 9 a.m , GSA will conduct a pre-submittal briefing for interested parties at 330 East 200 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. The briefing will include an overview of the Request for Proposal and background on the building.
There will be a follow-up tour of the Hansen Federal Building in Ogden, UT, at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31.More information concerning Industry Day, including a detailed agenda, will be posted on this page closer to the event date.
