About the Ronald Reagan Building
Completed in 1997, the Ronald Reagan Federal Building and International Trade Center is the second largest government building in the country with 3.1 million square feet of office space on an 11 acre site.
Congress mandated that the building bring together public and private resources for the advancement of international trade and globalization under a single roof. As the first and only federal building designed for both government and private sector use, the Reagan Building provides workspace for government employees, commercial and nonprofit organizations, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, as well as shops and restaurants. The building encourages public accessibility and all are welcome to explore the building's artworks and extraordinary architecture.
