Brett Prather - Associate Administrator for Strategic Communication
Brett Prather is the Associate Administrator for Strategic Communication at the General Services Administration.
In his role, Brett leads the office that is responsible for communicating GSA’s important mission in delivering the best value in real estate, acquisition, and technology services to government and the American people. This is accomplished through ensuring clear and effective messaging to the public, providing strategic direction on major policies and initiatives, and working to engage and empower GSA’s workforce.
Previously, Brett was the Deputy Associate Administrator for Policy in GSA’s Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. There, he was responsible for establishing the legislative priorities of the organization, and building and supporting a team of policy specialists that helped the agency, in partnership with Congress, better deliver on its mission.
Brett graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Chapman University in Orange, CA.
