The Glenn M. Anderson Federal Building is located on the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue, south of the Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse and west of the Long Beach Public Library and City Hall.

There is no parking available in the building for the general public. Metered street parking is nearby. Commercial parking lots are within walking distance to the building. Public transportation is available via Long Beach Transit [a nongovernment website]. There is a bus stop in front of the building.
All public visitors are required to pass through electronic security equipment located on the first floor. ADA access is available at the main entrance to the building.
Major tenants are Homeland Security Investigations (the investigative arm of DHS), IRS, SSA, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. In the latest (2016) Tenant Satisfaction Survey, 74% rated the federal building and GSA services four or five on a five-point scale.
