Despite the move to an increasingly paperless world, the need for printers and paper copies exists. GSA developed the PrintWise program to help employees improve their printing behaviors. This is part of a governmentwide awareness campaign designed to enable federal employees to print less and make fewer wasteful print decisions.
Within the first 90 days of adoption of the campaign, agencies can begin to identify a real impact on their savings and the environment as a result of simple behavioral changes.When these changes are implemented across multiple agencies, they have the potential to save the government hundreds of millions of dollars annually and make a significant positive impact on the environment.
