Service Contract Inventory

Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum - Service Contract Inventories (SCIs), dated December 19, 2011, requires certain federal agencies to develop an annual inventory of all service contracts valued greater than $25,000. GSA's utilized Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) information to develop the FY15 agency inventory report. Service Contract Inventories are used by GSA to better understand how contracted services are being used across the agency in order to support GSA's primary mission and to ensure that GSA maintains an adequate workforce to prevent over-reliance on contractor support staff. GSA incorporates the information from this tool into our human capital planning and development process.
