***All participants are required to register for the class through the GSA Events page. For Federal employees (civilian agency employees), registration is also required in FAITAS (Federal Acquisition Institute Training Application System) as well. This is the link to the FAITAS website (http://www.fai.gov/drupal/) . The name of the class in FAITAS is "FCN 416 Personal Property Concepts". Please select the class in FAITAS with the same training dates of August 15-19. If you have any issues registering in FAITAS, please email Brent Crawley (email@example.com). Depending on the issue, Brent can tell you to continue with FAITAS registration or not and confirm that you are in the class
. Registering in FAITAS is a new requirement from the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). Again, registration should occur in both places if you are a federal civilian employee. ***The training is free but hotel, per diem, and transportation to the event is the responsibility of the participant/agency.
Public transportation is available through MARTA. The train stop for the Martin Luther King Federal Building is at the Five Points Train Station.
