Virtual Personal Property Training: A&D and eScrap Recycling for USDA

Learn about A&D regulations and escrap recycling!

GSA Personal Property Management and the US Postal Service is hosting a series of virtual no cost training sessions on various aspects of the Abandonment and Destruction Authority and the USPS BlueEarth Federal Recycling Program. This training is tailored specifically for the US Department of Agriculture and will examine the Abandonment and Destruction (A&D) regulations and authority, including who makes the determination for A&D and what the criteria are for making that judgment. Next, USPS's BlueEarth Federal Recycling Program (an R2 certified recycler) will provide a short presentation on the electronics and cartridge recycling program, which is free for federal agencies and meets environmental standards.  Participants will learn a brief history of the program and the benefits of using this program for their recycling needs.

The training will be held on November 17, 2016,  from 1:00 - 2:00 PM EST

Registered participants will receive 1 CLP for attending.  Registration for this training is required to receive credit for attending.

GSA Meeting Place may not be compatible with everyone’s system. If you are unable to join this training online, you will need to look for a traditional class in your area through GSA Events or GSA Interact.
