Sheets and Titleblocks

All GSA templates have titleblock families pre-loaded. These titleblocks address the most common sizes used by the GSA. Titleblocks families from the GSA have a “GSA” prefix. Refer to project information to determine the proper titleblock to use.

Sheet/Titleblock Properties

Sheets have several properties reflected in the titleblock. Below are the entries and their respective locations on the titleblock. Information provided in a descending order as found on the titleblock.

Titleblock

The titleblock holds several instance properties for the project. Graphic scales are controlled by the Titleblock instance parameters. In addition, there is a visibility parameter for the graphic scale and for the project key plan.

Titleblock Properties

Do not delete the project browser organization “GSA-VIEWS”. It is not a requirement to use this organization, but the project is required to be in this organization when you submit the Revit model to the GSA for review.

Revision Schedule
A revision schedule is a part of the titleblock. Use as designed. No graphic illustration of revision tag is required in the revision schedule.

Issue Log
Currently, there is no location on the sheets to denote sheets that have been issued. Therefore, that information is contained within the sheet properties. See Schedule “ISSUE LIST” for an organized method to add issue information to the sheets.

Export support files

Several supporting text files are included to make mapping of objects and layers a simpler task.

GSA R5 EXPORTLAYERS-DWG-GSA-PBS.TXT

  • Used for exporting PBS complaint DWG files from your Revit model.

GSA R5 EXPORTLAYERS-IFC.TXT & GSA R5 IMPORTMAP-IFC.TXT

  • Object mapping files for cleaner IFC imports and exports from Revit.
