Energy from Steam and Electricity provides heating, cooling and lighting for workers inside the Clinton Building. In an effort to conserve these resources, the EPA buildings have reduced its yearly energy by 13% over the past 10 years.

EPA offsets 100 percent of the electricity consumption at its Federal Triangle Headquarters facilities with renewable energy certificates (RECs) purchased through the Agency's current blanket green power contract.
