Furniture and furnishings NSNs
Product line specific brochures from each of our furniture direct vendor delivery partners are available for download.
Whether your agency is military or civilian, we’re ready to support your furniture and furnishings requirements.
GSA’s Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center has expanded the categories and styles of furniture and furnishings available through GSA Global Supply® to include over 2000 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for the most in-demand furniture products. Furniture NSNs are awarded as product lines to be compatible in design so that they can be used together in a variety of unique workspaces.
Every NSN may be requisitioned, regardless of order size, from GSA. GSA has already conducted a competitive procurement that satisfies all Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, including environmental initiatives, trade agreement policies, socio-economic goals, AbilityOne mandates, and executive orders.
How to submit and pay for your order
For comprehensive instructions on the ordering process and benefits of using furniture NSNs please view our easy ordering options and our Global Supply Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Purchase cards are a convenient way to pay, but when your order exceeds $10,000, you may wonder whether you still have options to purchase furniture NSNs. Yes, you do – the answer is your Activity Address Code (AAC/DoDAAC). Used for funding, an AAC/DoDAAC is a six-character code used to identify your office within your agency.
Don’t know your AAC/DoDAAC? Civilian agencies, reach out to your AAC point of contact [PDF - 316 KB] and order beyond a purchase card limit today. DoD offices, email us at ordermgmt@gsa.gov to locate your DoDAAC.
Customer service
To obtain order status or get help, call 800-488-3111 or email us at NCSCcustomer.service@gsa.gov. Around-the-clock customer service is available to our CONUS and OCONUS customers from Sunday at 9 p.m. until Friday at 9:30 p.m ET.
Delivery
For your convenience, all items are direct delivery from our industry partners, which provides faster delivery and lower prices to our customers. Delivery times vary by product line. The applicable delivery time for each NSN can be found by searching for the NSN at GSA Global Supply or at GSA Advantage!®.
Most Global Supply orders arrive quickly via small-parcel carriers, however. larger furniture shipments will be delivered via common freight carriers. Most of the furniture and furnishing items are priced as FOB Destination, so delivery is included in GSA pricing and there will be no additional freight charges. However, if the NSN is listed as FOB Origin at GSA Global Supply, additional freight charges may apply. GSA prices also cover delivery of OCONUS orders for entry into the Defense Transportation System or a designated freight forwarder for further routing overseas. A copy of the shipping record will accompany your order; you can use it to verify quantities and prices of items received.
Basic freight is dock-to-dock. GSA prices do not include liftgate service or physically carrying freight up or down stairs (where delivery is to a floor other than the the loading dock, and there is not an available elevator). Customers may arrange for inside delivery or additional services when they need freight delivered beyond their loading docks, at an extra cost. These rates may be predicated on established contract pricing or may need to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
To request special handling or if a particular situation warrants a need to contact a vendor or transportation company about your delivery or installation request, please contact the NCSC at 800-488-3111 or ncsccustomer.service@gsa.gov.
Tip: For large orders and heavy furniture items, please make sure to include a point of contact and phone number for both the buyer and for delivery on your requisition in the event that questions arise about your delivery location or order. Because some furniture items are very heavy, providing point of contact and phone numbers will help prevent costly delivery issues.
