Security and Protection, IT Category, & Emergency BOA Training, MAY 2023

Mark your calendar right now to attend the monthly training series hosted by the Greater Southwest Region. This free training provides information on sustainable GSA acquisition solutions, programs, and resources.

Topics include:

- An overview of GSA's Security and Protection category.

Whether it is protecting our shorelines, patrolling our harbors, ports, and federally controlled lakes and rivers, or oil-spill containment, this Category has all types of marine craft, equipment, and services, including helicopters to meet your needs. This Category can provide equipment and services for personal, vehicular, or facility applications for all of your law enforcement protection, prevention, apprehension, or investigation needs.

- A look at GSA's Information Technology Category, the largest IT contract vehicle in the federal government to procure commercial IT services, solutions, mobility, cloud, hardware, and software.

- An introduction to GSA’s Emergency Acquisition BOAs. GSA’s Office of Acquisition Operations has entered into agreement with federal agencies such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to assist in the rapid procurement and delivery of commercial supplies and services both in anticipation of and response to emergencies. The BOAs provide federal agencies, state & local, tribal, and territorial governments with rapid solicitation and delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
