Submetering & Analytics Webinar on Wireless CTs, Thursday June 20, 12 pm ET

New systems that integrate sensors and analytics are simplifying the submetering process and driving costs down. This outbrief will present results from a testbed evaluation of wireless current transformers (CTs). These sensors clip onto circuit-panel electric wires and measure the current flowing through the wire. Researchers from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) found that the technology was easy to install and is a good option for fault detection and diagnostics. During the webinar, researchers and facility managers will discuss findings from the evaluation, share operational guidance and answer questions. Attendees are eligible to receive continuing education credits from the American Institute of Architects.
