Online Auction Announced for Sale of Former Fleet Management Motor Pool Parcel in Brooklyn, New York

BOSTON – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announces the public auction of a former Fleet Management Motor Pool Parcel in Brooklyn, New York. The auction will begin on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

The online auction is part of GSA’s ongoing efforts to dispose of excess properties, saving taxpayer dollars and making more efficient use of the government’s real estate assets.

  • Property Address: 870 Third Avenue (5, 32nd Street) Brooklyn, New York
  • Location: Corner of 32nd Street and 2nd Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn
  • Tax Parcel Lot: Block 675, Lot No. 2
  • Consists of an approximately 0.991 acre corner lot, at the corner of 32nd Street and Second Avenue in Brooklyn
  • Improved with a 13,630 SF single-story brick and concrete structure (Motor Pool building)
    • Building constructed in 1961
    • Associated with past Motor Pool activities
  • The condition of the property is not warranted
