GSA announces auction of Mount Hope, WV property

PHILADELPHIA — On August 4, 2021, the U.S. General Services Administration listed for public auction commercial property at 100 Bluestone Road, Mount Hope, West Virginia. The 0.96 acre lot is improved with one building of approximately 34,568 gross square feet and two small auxiliary buildings. The main building features three floors of office, laboratory and storage space and has accessible restrooms. 

The property has been determined eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Inspection opportunities are available on August 19 from 1-3 p.m. and on September 15 from 10 a.m.noon EST.  All visitors must complete the site inspection waiver, wear a face covering at all times and show identification upon entry to the building.

The property was formerly used by the Mine Safety and Health Administration for office use and laboratory testing. The site is currently zoned low density commercial. We will post bids continuously at RealEstateSales.gov. The auction closes September 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. EST.
