Where do you live? 
Bogard, Missouri

Where is your hometown?
Chillicothe, Missouri

What was your career journey, to where you are now?
Construction and military.

What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?
I currently serve in the Missouri National Guard at Fort Leonard Wood (140th Regiment, Missouri Regional Training Institute) as an instructor for wheeled-vehicle mechanics and generator mechanics. I worked for the last 10 years as a dual-status federal employee in Marshall, Missouri.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?
University of Arkansas Grantham, associate degree in multidisciplinary studies, which I completed Dec. 8.

What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?
I built my own home.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?
Just being outside, walking the timber, or being at kids’ ball games.

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?
I’m married with three boys. My wife is a teacher. We all enjoy the outdoors. My kids enjoy hunting, fishing and trapping. We have two dogs, both labs, named Captain Moose and Lieutenant Patches.  

What three words best describe your personality?
Direct, Quiet, Honest.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?
For my son and I to get to go on an elk hunting trip.

What characteristic or value do you most admire in others?
Straightforward talking.

What is your unique talent, skill or gift?
Woodworking.
