Where do you live?
Warrensburg, Missouri

Where is your hometown?
Stover, Missouri

What was your career journey, to where you are now?
After starting college I joined the U.S. Army Missouri National Guard on a whim — thinking it would be a good way to help cover college expenses. In the end, that decision set the stage for my career. I have been a guardsman for 19 years, both full time and part time. I began my acquisition career in 2014 with the U.S. Property and Fiscal Office in Jefferson City, Missouri. In 2019, I joined the U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron as a contracting officer. I then deployed with the National Guard to the southwest border for 11 months before rejoining the Air Force and ultimately coming to GSA.

What is your alma mater, degree or special training?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and communication from the University of Central Missouri.

How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?
I enjoy traveling with my family, hunting, fishing, crossfit, and being outdoors. I also spend a great deal of time accommodating my kids’ schedules. As an Eagle Scout, I enjoy time with my son in Cub Scouts where we just built a pinewood derby car.

Tell us a little about yourself. Children? Pets? Married? Hobbies?
I married my wife, Beth, in 2012 and have two boys: Sam and Joe.

What three words best describe your personality?
Relaxed. Confidence. Humble.

What is one of the items on your bucket list?
I’d like to travel to Europe with my family.

What characteristic or value do you most admire in others?
Someone who admits when they are wrong.

What is your unique talent, skill or gift?
I’m not great at anything, but I can do almost everything.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?
So far it’s been a fun ride at GSA. I’m happy to be here and look forward to working with my team.
