PBS teams collect pajamas for children’s hospital

By Charlie Cook

The Services Acquisition Branch and the Acquisition Program and Quality Assurance Branch, both part of the PBS Acquisition Management Division, teamed up this holiday season to hold a pajama drive for a local children's hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

“We collected pajamas, socks and slippers for the children at the hospital to brighten their Christmas Day,” said Services Acquisition Branch Chief Crystal Martin. “It was an incredible team effort where the members of both branches stepped up and graciously gave to make Christmas enjoyable for sick children.”

Michelle Warren and Paula Andreas coordinated the effort. About 50 pajama sets were dropped off at the hospital Dec. 19.

“I am very proud of the generosity of this group and how we teamed together to demonstrate what the true holiday spirit is all about,” Martin said.
